Peugeot 301 is designed for people who love affordable four-door saloons that are easy to maintain. It has a simple but stylish look that makes it look more of a premium saloon.

It has a large prominent ‘floating grill’ with chrome touches. Next to it are stylish twin headlamps that give the front a simple look. Below the grill is a large air intake with fog lamps at each end. Its large doors feature a chrome underline while the car rides on stylish alloy wheels. The rear consists of large rear lights, a chrome lion logo with chrome Peugeot nameplate, an integrated rear diffuser and a large boot hatch. It has an overall wheelbase of 2.65 m, a boot volume of 506 litre and has been adopted for use in hot countries, cold countries, and poor roads.

It’s available with three powertrains. There is a 1.2 l VTi with an output of 71 bhp. A manual or EGC (electronic gearbox control) is married to the engine. Next is a 1.6 l HDi diesel engine with 92 bhp. The engine comes fitted with a manual transmission system. The top of the range powertrain is a 1.6 l VTi with an output of 115 bhp.

It comes with either a manual or automatic gearbox. It has safe handling combined with high levels of comfort thanks to a refined chassis. A wide range of safety systems are also fitted like ESP, ABS, up to four airbags, emergency braking assistance and ISOFIX.
Inside there is room for five occupants. They benefit from standard equipment like electronic air conditioning, MP3 audio system with Bluetooth hands-free kit and USB connection, remote opening of the boot and rear parking assistance.

The new Peugeot 301 will premiere at the at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. It will then go on sale from 1st November 2012 in Turkey then into Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, The Middle East, Gulf and African States, as well as in certain Latin American markets.
