The current Mercedes C63 AMG shines in terms dynamism and great driving pleasure either on track or on the road. AMG engineers have been busy yet again. The result of their hard work is evident on the new C63 AMG Edition 507. It gets its inspiration from the C63 AMG Black and SLS AMG. It will be available in Coupe, Estate or Saloon variant.

Mercedes C63 AMG Edition 507
Its exclusive design is characterised by a host design features. The aluminium bonnet has two openings that are adopted from the C63 AMG Black Series. The openings help to dispel hot air from the engine. AMG sports stripes adorn the side panels of the Edition 507. They are finished in matt graphite grey. The front and rear diffusor are finished in high-gloss black. The exterior mirror housing, daytime running lights and radiator grille’s edge also receive similar colour treatment. Its darkened front headlights give the front an aggressive and sporty touch. The C63 AMG Edition 507 rides on new AMG light-alloy cross-spoke wheels. They are fitted with 235/35 R 19 tyres at the front and 255/30 R 19 tyres at the rear. The wheels are available in two variants; a high sheen finish titanium grey alloys or unique matt black with a high-sheen rim outline.
Unique interior trim

Under the two bonnet openings is a naturally aspirated 6.3litre V8 engine found in a normal C63 AMG. To make the Edition 507 C63 AMG, the engine’s output was increased by 50hp (37kW). Hence the car gets its 507 tag from the 507hp (373kW) in the bonnet. Married to the engine is AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission. To increase the powerplant’s output AMG used a similar engine tuning technology from the SLS AMG. Standard C63 AMG models come with 457hp. The rear wheels are spurn endlessly by 610Nm of torque. The Saloon and Coupe variants accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The heavier C63 AMG Edition 507 Estate requires 0.1 seconds more to complete the same task. Top speed is limited to 280km/h.

Sporty rear design

The special edition C63 AMG comes with powerful AMG high-performance braking system. Its front axles make use of composite disc measuring 360 x 36 mm. The use light composite also reduces the overall weight of the car. They also have a longer life span compared to normal disc brakes. The brake discs are ventilated and perforated all round and are decelerated by means of 6-piston aluminium fixed callipers on the front axle and 4-piston fixed callipers on the rear axle. They are finished in red paint.

Indulging cockpit

The exclusive decorated sporty exterior is matched by a dynamic interior. There are three different appointments new owners can choose from. There is a porcelain designo leather/DINAMICA, black designo leather/DINAMICA and black designo leather. The driver holds an Alcantara® adorned AMG Performance steering wheel. Gear selectors for the SPEEDSHIFT transmission are finished in DINAMICA and feature an AMG badge. In the AMG instrument cluster, red applications serve to visually differentiate this variant from the other C63 AMG models. Various interior trims are finished in high-gloss black piano lacquer.
