VW Beetle R-Line

The new VW Beetle is now available with R-Line packages for both the exterior and interior. The package is fitted to the top of the range Beetle Sport version. 

VW Beetle R-Line

The exterior package includes new front bumpers with independent black grained air inlets and chrome surrounds for the directional indicators. It also gets a new rear diffuser, special body panels and door mirrors with housing painted in the vehicle’s body colour.

R-Line logos are also fitted on the front body panel beneath the A-pillars. The Beetle also gets large 18-inch Twister alloy wheels or optional 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels painted in either black or white. 

Sports seats with R-Line logo on head restraints

The interior package includes new sports seats upholstered with an active-breathing fabric in Kyalami design. The new sports seats also feature front head restraints with R-Line badge. The sports steering wheel, gear shift lever and handbrake are trimmed with leather that has decorative seams in Art Grey.

The interior can also be ordered with a black leather (Vienna) seats that also comes with R-Line badges on the head restraints. There are also R-Line logos on the door sill plates and the driver grips a leather-trimmed sport steering wheel.

Stylish rear with R-Line exterior package

Under the bonnet is similar engines found in the Beetle Sport. There is a 1.4litre TSI with an output of 158hp, a 2.0litre TDI with 138hp and a 2.0litre TSI with 197hp. The R-Line trims start at € 1,290 (Kshs. 150,000 excl. taxes) for the exterior package and € 1,675 (Kshs. 200,000 excl. taxes) for the interior package.
