On May 10, 2012 the world lost a great motoring legend from America, Mr. Carroll Shelby. His works have helped shaped the face of American muscle cars as we know it.

His legacy spans over 50 years where he worked with Ford to produces some amazing creations. Some of his famous projects include the legendary Cobras and the Mustang GT40. He also has been a part of all mustangs since mid-1960’s.

| Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 |
To celebrate his life, Ford have released a one of a kind Cobra based on the current 662hp Shelby GT500. Just like Shelby himself, the new car is bound to be a one of a kind legend.  |

The new cobra has a specially designed hood, rear wide body kit, Shelby brakes and new 20x13-inch rear and 20x10-inch front wheels.

The body is painted in a similar Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes that graced so many of the Cobra roadsters built in the 1960s. Its V8 engine now generates more than 850hp with a help of a massive 4.0litre Whipple supercharger.
