Renault Koleos

With the previous model that will forever be remembered for it comfort, versatility and modularity as well as speed the made the 2008 Koleos an amazing piece of machine. The next Koleos has similar characteristics found in the old model however it even better thanks to major improvements.  

Side view

The front end of the SUV has been redesigned. It now features a chrome grille, new slimmer headlights that have LED indicators incorporated in to them.

Rear View

View it from the side and one will notice its high ground clearance prominent wheel arches and new, modern, sporty wheels. At the back almost seems similar to the previous model with many of the features being left untouched such as the steeply-raked rear window, rear spoiler and the metallic body protection trim. 

Entertainment unit

The Koleos comes with a 150hp or 175hp version of the M9R diesel engine.  A TR25 petrol engine is also available. It has an output of 170hp. The power is sent to the four wheels via an all-wheel drive transmission of the 4x4 version that is found in all Nissan SUVs. This ensures genuine off-road ability, precise steering and stability.

It has a spacious interior with enough room for five occupants and a storage space for up to 70 litres. It has enough headroom and knee room in the front, and an excellent balance between elbow room and headroom for rear passengers. That space can be further boosted by folding the rear seats.

Spiting rear boot

The boot is also easily accessible thanks to the splitting rear boot. It also comes with other useful features like including hands-free entry and ignition, an electronic parking brake, automatic headlight and windscreen wiper activation and a joystick-operated navigation system. 

Dials

The 4x4 versions of the Koleos also incorporate Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control. Mechanical and road noise have also been dealt with to allow occupants to enjoy the premium Bose® sound audio system. A panoramic opening roof makes the cabin even brighter and more enjoyable. It also comes equipped with safety features such as headroom and knee room in the front, and an excellent balance between elbow room and headroom for rear passengers.
