Make your choice; Coupe or Roadster |
To ensure that you don’t confuse it with a regular TT coupe, Audi have redesigned both the front and the rear of the coupe.
It has large and squared air inlets that have diamond-shaped inserts. The high-gloss black single frame grille (with a frame in matt aluminium) further boosts its aggressive look.
The front Xenon lamps have also been reshaped and also feature daytime running LED lights.

At the side are huge five spoke 18 inch wheels, aluminium cased exterior mirrors, side slits and huge wheel arches.
At the back are huge oval exhaust tailpipes that are enclosed in a black diffuser. A huge spoiler seats at the back that improves the aerodynamic capabilities of the car.

A retractable spoiler is also available on order. For the TT roadster there is a retractable roof that is stored in back.
POWER
Under the bonnet it has an all-new 2.5-litre 5 cylinder turbocharged engine. The lively engine produces 340 hp. 0 to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds in the lighter Coupe (1,450 kilograms) and 4.9 seconds in the heavier Roadster (1,510 kilograms).

Top speed in both is limited to 250 km/h. However if you think that’s not enough Audi will gladly raise that limit to 280 km/h.
The engine is also rewards in terms of fuel efficiency. It will only need 9.2 litres (for the Coupe) and 9.5 litres (in the Roadster) to cover a distance of 100 km. married to both engines is a six-speed manual transmission system.

The system has been specially tuned to offer shorter gear ratio and smoother acceleration. The power is distributed to all the wheels via the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.
It shifts power from either the front wheels to the back or vice versa to ensure the car has superb handling at any given time.

One can also order the TT RS with a magnetic ride adaptive damping system that allows the drive to select a desirable driving mode.
There is the ‘Dynamic’ mode that ensures the car remains stuck to the road and ‘Comfort’ mode for a pleasant everyday driving.

INTERIOR
The whole interior is generally black in colour but there are few touches of metal here and there. At the front are sports seats that are heated.
They feature a leather/alcantara combination stitched all round by a silver contrasting stitching. The front seats backrests also feature a huge embossed TT RS logo. For the Coupe there are two rear seats while the Roadster loses the seats to the folding roof.

In the Coupe the rear seats can be folded to increase the boot space. An infotainment system displays oil pressure, turbo pressure and lap times.
It also acts as the radio unit and the navigation system. It can also connect with phones via a Bluetooth system and also play music stored on the phone.

An automatic climate-control system and the concert sound system are standard. The TT RS Roadster electrohydraulic soft top and an electric wind deflector come as standard.
For lovers of pure performance there is also another powerful version of the TT RS called the Plus. This has the same engine but it has 20 more horsepower. It goes from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.1 seconds. Its Roadster version will complete the similar task in just 4.2 seconds.

Top speed in both is limited to 280 km/h. the fuel consumption is 8.5 litres/100km covered for the Coupe version and 8.6 litres/100km covered for the Roadster version.
It comes standard with 19 inch wheels that have been painted black with contrasting red rim extensions.
It also has side mirrors made of carbon fiber and a dual sport exhaust system that gives it an amazing sound.
