With its never seen before design and custom boutique style, the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet is unlike anything on the road. It blends all of the things people love in a SUV with the open air enjoyment of a convertible.

What Nissan did was to take the normal four-door Murano, removed the roof, two back doors and the rear boot. They then replaced the roof with a cloth convertible top that also includes a rear glass skylight.
This they say helps create a wide-open interior environment even with the top in the closed position. They also fitted it with Dual Pop-up Roll Bars which help protect occupants in case the car rolls over. I would like to introduce you to the worlds first convertible sport utility vehicle.
Enough room for four occupants |

The cloth convertible is compact giving allowing the car to have a large boot for storage. This is rare in most convertible as the roof and the rear glass are normally stored in the boot of the car.
The advantage that the Murano has over other convertibles is it ride-height. This means one can enjoy the pleasures of a convertible while driving off road.

V6 heart |
The tall windshield design, high body beltline and high rear seat shoulders help reduce conventional interior air turbulence when the roof is down.
This allows conversation between occupants even at high speeds. Under the bonnet is the same engine found in the normal Murano; a 3.5-liter V6 producing 265 bhp. It is also has a four wheel independent suspension for off road driving and enjoyment.

Since its interior will be visible to the world most of the time, Nissan have made it as luxurious as possible. Premium materials are used throughout the interior. Standard and premium leather are double-stitched to give the seats a pattern of elegance.
The interior also consists of half-matte chromed trim finish and unique wood-tone trim. They are tuned to match each of three available interior colours; Black, Cashmere (light brown) and Camel (brown).

The driver and passengers will enjoy heated seats with power lumbar support. The driver will have a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. All this help keep occupants warm while in the Murano especially when the roof is down.
Other features available are 2-position driver's memory storage for the seat, steering wheel outside mirrors and a passenger seat easy entry release button. Occupants will be entertained by a Bose® AM/FM/CD audio system with 8 speakers including subwoofer. It also has iPod® connectivity and auxiliary audio input jack.
